Giving Opportunities
“For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.”(2 Corinthians 8:12)
God is generous with us, and we are called to be generous in return. Without the gifts of time, talent, and treasure, shared so generously with us by our parishioners, we would not be the thriving and tight-knit Catholic community we are today. We also would not be able to continuously strive to better ourselves and grow as a parish without the hospitality of our members. For every donation, no matter its size or shape, we are so grateful.
Funds and Opportunities
Envelopes
Sunday giving envelopes have been a staple in Catholic churches for decades. When you register with our parish, you have the option of signing up for envelopes or using our online option. If you choose the envelope option for your donations, you may use them for your Sunday offering of cash or check. The envelopes can then either be put in the collection basket at Mass or mailed directly to the Rectory.
Online Giving
Saint Joseph’s Monastery uses the Our Sunday Visitor online giving service. It is safe and secure to use. To securely create and account and manage your contributions to the parish. This is the best way to support our parish. We are experiencing serious delivery issues through the USPS. In order for your offering to be received and processed in a timely fashion, online is the safest and best way to go!

Memorials
Often when a loved one passes away the family will suggest donations to the parish in leu of flowers, you would need to make the funeral home aware of this when making arrangements. These contributions make a difference in the life of the parish for years to come, and a beautiful way to have a loved one remembered. Also, families often contribute funds that go towards items such as vestments or other liturgical items used in the mass in memory of their loved ones. The names of the loved ones can be engraved into things like a chalice, or their names sewn into the vestments. If you would like to consider this, please feel free to contact Father Mike.
Matching Gifts
Many employers will match your donation for our parish. This method can double the impact of your donation and help our parish twice as much. Check with your employer today to see if this may be an option for you.
Stock Donations
If you would be interested this option, please contact the parish office for the information you will need for your stock gift to be processed.
Legacy and Planned Gifts
A planned gift is a gift given to the church through a will, contract, or trust. It leaves a lasting legacy and helps ensure the fulfillment of the church’s mission for years to come. Over the years, many have remembered the parish in this way. Their thoughtfulness has helped us tremendously. You may also donate from your Donor Advised Funds and your tax-free IRA accounts. If you donate via an IRA account, a thank you letter will be sent out stating that no goods or services were exchanged for it and that the donation amount can be deducted from your taxes. When doing your planning, remember that you will need to know the parish Corporate Title, which is Saint Joseph’s Passionist Monastery Roman Catholic Congregation, Inc.
